Tax payments will be accepted by the Town of North East through March 2, 2026 without penalty. Tax payments made after March 2 will include a 2% penalty, payments made in April will include a 3% penalty, and payments made in May will include a 4% penalty. In addition, after May 15th, a fee of $2.00 will be added for each parcel. Office hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and FEBRUARY ONLY: Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; or by appointment (518–789–3300, Ext. 603).

Notice of payment: THE LAST DAY PAYMENTS ACCEPTED BY THE TOWN OF NORTH EAST IS JUNE 1, 2026. AFTER JUNE 1, 2026, YOU MUST CALL THE DUTCHESS COUNTY COMMISSIONER OF FINANCE FOR PAYMENT AND PENALTY INFORMATION AT 845–486–2026.
