WHEN SEARCHING FOR TAX BILLS BY ADDRESS USE ONLY HOUSE # AND NAME OF STREET. DO NOT TYPE ST., DR., AVE., etc. (e.g: 1 Overocker NOT 1 Overocker Rd.)

To Pay In Person or by Mail:	Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, 1 Overocker Road, Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Please make checks payable to Kelly Tremper, Receiver of Taxes (Please note that if the due date falls on a holiday, and this office is closed, you will be given a grace day to pay on the next business day without penalty). This office accepts a US Postmark as timely as long as the postmark shows a date on or before the due date. A postage meter postmark (i.e. Pitney Bowes) is NOT a postmark made by the United States Post office and, therefore, is not within the provisions of Real Property Tax Law, Section 925. Payments cannot be deemed timely because of a postage meter postmark on an envelope containing a tax payment (Op. State Compt. 69-170)
Online Payment Fee Schedule:	Credit Card 2.45% of total amount being paid (Mastercard, Visa and Discover) minimum fee $3.95, Mastercard Debit 2.45% of total amount being paid, minimum fee $1.75, e-check $1.75 flat fee.

School taxes are due October 10, 2023 without penalty. From October 11, 2023 through November 1, 2023 there is a 2% penalty. The last day to pay school taxes to our office is November 1, 2023.

After November 1, 2023 all unpaid taxes must be paid to the Dutchess County Commissioner of Finance, 22 Market Street, 3rd Floor, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601 (845-486-2025) with additional penalties.
