Welcome to the Town of Brunswick online Tax Payment and Search System

To locate your bill on this site, you only have to fill in one of the fields listed. (It will even work with just the owner's last name) For your convenience (for a fee) you may now make online payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, or Visa credit cards. We can also process debit cards and electronic checks.
By law the town is not allowed to pay the transaction processing fees (which will be collected by the payment provider CSG Forte) therefore it must be paid by the user. Payments must be for the full amount; partial payments cannot be accepted.
The fees are as follows:
American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, or Visa credit cards = 2.55% (minimum of $1.95)
Debit cards = $3.95 flat fee
Electronic checks = $2.00 flat fee

We now have a Collection Lock Box (for checks or money orders; envelopes are on top shelf for your convenience) located outside the Town Office which can be used at any time during our collection period. Payments may be paid in person (cash, checks, or money orders) at the Town Office Monday – Friday, 9AM – 4PM, except for holidays or mailed to:

Payments mailed with a USPS postdate on or before September 30th may be paid without penalty. If paying October 1st thru October 31st (2 percent must be added) see the full payment options on the tax bill. After November 1st all unpaid bills will be turned over to Rensselaer County Bureau of Finance. You can call the County's Bureau of Finance at 518–270–2773.
Please check with YOUR bank about other online or bill pay options. (These payments usually come from your bank or a bill pay service, and are NOT postmarked. Therefore, the date it is received is date of payment. Please give 8 to 10 days for them to process your payment and be mailed to us.)
