Receiver of Taxes and Assessments, 1 Overocker Road, Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Please make checks payable to Kelly Tremper, Receiver of Taxes (Please note that if the due date falls on a holiday or weekend and this office is closed, you will be given a grace day to pay on the next business day without penalty). This office accepts a US Postmark as timely provided the postmark shows a date on or before the due date. A postage meter postmark (i.e. Pitney Bowes) is NOT a postmark made by the United States Post office and, therefore, is not within the provisions of Real Property Tax Law, Section 925. Payments cannot be deemed timely because of a postage meter postmark on an envelope containing a tax payment (Op. State Compt. 69–170) |

School taxes are due October 14, 2025 without penalty. From October 15, 2025 through October 31, 2025 there is a 2% penalty. The last day to pay school taxes to our office is October 31, 2025.
After October 31, 2025 all unpaid taxes must be paid to the Dutchess County Commissioner of Finance, 22 Market Street, 4th Floor, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601 (845–486–2025) with additional penalties.
