Welcome to the Town of Haverstraw Online Tax Search System
2026 Town/County Tax Payments will be accepted by Donna M. Rose, Receiver of Taxes, beginning
Friday, January 2, 2026. We will be open, Monday - Friday, 9 am. -5:00 pm. We will have late nights
on Wednesday, January 28th and Thursday, January 29th till 7:00 pm. We are closed for all government
holidays. Taxes are payable by mail or in person. We accept Check, Cash, Credit or Debit card. A
convenience fee of 2.45% for all credit & debit cards will apply (This fee is added by the credit card
provider, not the Town of Haverstraw).
After March 16, 2026, all taxes paid by a check must be a certified check or bank check.
If you choose to make the four installment payments; payment 1 is made at our office by
January 31, 2026. Payments 2, 3 & 4 installments must be paid to the Rockland County Commissioner
of Finance.
You may view and print the current bills or receipts from this site. It also will have five years of tax
payment history at the town level. If prior year's taxes show unpaid you can check with the County to
verify the payments on delinquent taxes.
Payment Schedule: January 2nd to January 31st - no penalty; February 1 to February 28th -1%
penalty; March 1s to March 31s -2% penalty. After these dates, Town /County Taxes are payable to
Rockland County Commissioner of Finance (845)364-3878.
