To search for a bill, choose ONE of the options above. If searching by “Owner Name”, enter the last name ONLY. If searching by address, we suggest you enter the house number only. You will be able to select your bill from a list.

Payments can be made in-person: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am to 3pm; Thursday 1:30pm to 6pm; and Friday 9am to 12pm.

We accept cash or checks made payable to: “Rensselaerville Tax Collector”.

You may also pay your taxes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using our Drop Box (checks only); 

OR online by using your Visa, MasterCard , American Express or Discover credit card (2.50% convenience fee will apply; minimum fee of $1.80), Visa Debit card ($4.00 flat fee will apply) or by Electronic Check ($2.00 flat fee will apply). Convenience and flat fees are collected by the web service provider, not by the Town of Rensselaerville. 

Any payments made February 3, 2026 – March 2, 2026 must include the 1% penalty. Any payments made March 3, 2026 – March 31, 2026 must include the 2% penalty.

Payment must be made in full. Partial payments and post-dated checks are not accepted.

All unpaid taxes are turned over to Albany County on April 1, 2026.

Payments made to the County are not posted on this website.
