This system allows taxpayers to view, pay and print their tax bills in a secure and convenient environment.

Online payments may be made with a credit card, debit card or e-check. We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit and debit cards. By law the town is not allowed to pay the transaction processing fee. Therefore, it must be paid by the user.

Fees for Town of Cairo E-Payment Service:
VISA (credit); MasterCard & Discover (credit & debit)   2.45% per transaction (minimum fee $3.95)
                 ATM/Network debit cards (PIN-debit only)   2.45% per transaction (minimum fee $3.95)
 Visa - Consumer Debit Cards    $3.95 per transaction
         Electronic Checks / ACH    $1.75 per transaction

PLEASE KEEP THESE CONVENIENCE FEES IN MIND WHEN SELECTING THIS PAYMENT OPTION.

Tax payments will be received without penalty until February 2, 2026 with a US Postal Service Date stamp of February 2, 2026. Payments made after this date must include the appropriate penalty as indicated on the tax bill. Payments will be accepted through July 31, 2026 after which time the taxpayer should contact the Greene County Treasurer for payment information @ 518-719-3530. Payments made directly to Greene County after the closing of the town tax office on July 31, 2026 will NOT be reflected in this database.
