Welcome to the Town of Orangetown Online Tax Search & Payment System

The 2026 School Tax payment will be accepted by the Town of Orangetown, Town Clerk's Office September 1st through October 31st. We urge you to pay your taxes online. Payment made between October 1st and October 31st will incur a 5% Late Penalty Fee. If paying by check, make payable to: Rosanna Sfraga, Town Clerk. Mail payment with the Receiver’s Stub using the envelope provided to our Processing Center in Binghamton, NY or the Town of Orangetown, Town Clerk's Office, 26 W Orangeburg Rd, Orangeburg, NY 10962. DO NOT MAIL Late Payment to Binghamton, NY. 

Online Payments: To pay online, search for your property using ONLY ONE of the following fields, Tax Map #, Property Address, or Owner's Last Name and then, click “Search”. Next page you will have the option to “Print Bill” or “Pay in Full”.

A) All Credit Card Payments – a 2.45% Convenience Fee* will be added to your payment.
B) Electronic Check – a $0.75 Flat Fee* will be added to your payment.
C) Visa Debit Card ONLY – a $3.95 Flat Fee* will be added to your payment.
D) Mastercard, Discover, and all other Bank Debit Cards – a 1.50% Convenience Fee* will be added to your payment.

*Note: The added Convenience Fees are collected by the online payment provider, NOT the Town of Orangetown

Office Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. For your convenience, we also have a Secured Drop Box located in the foyer of the West Entrance of Town Hall. For more information, see the back of the mailed Tax Bill.

Office Closed: 
Monday, September 7th (Labor Day) and Monday, October 12th (Columbus Day).

Payment Due/Postmarked with USPS indicia by September 30th to avoid 5% penalty.

*Late payment must be received in Town Hall on or before the October 31st due date. Postmarks will NOT be accepted. Late payments after October 31st will not be posted in our system.
