Welcome to the Town of Orangetown Online Tax Search & Payment System

The 2026 Town & County Tax payment will be accepted by the Town of Orangetown, Town Clerk’s Office January 1st through March 31st. We urge you to pay your taxes online. Payment made between February 1st and March 31st will incur a late penalty fee. If paying by mail, make check payable to: Rosanna Sfraga, Town Clerk. DO NOT MAIL 1st Installment or Late Payment to Binghamton, NY. For your convenience, we have a Drop Box located in the foyer of the West Entrance. For more information, see the back of the Tax Bill.

Office closed January 1st (New Year’s Day) January 19th (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and Monday February 16th (President’s Day).
Payment must be received by Due Date, January 31st,to avoid penalties. All late payments must be received on or before the due date. Postmarks will NOT be accepted.

Online Payments: To pay online, search for your property using ONE of the following fields: Tax Map #, Property Address, or Owner’s Last Name and then, click “Search”. You can choose “Pay in Full” or “Pay 1st Installment.” Rockland County Finance Department adds a 5% Service Fee if you choose the Installment Plan.

A) All Credit Card Payments – a 2.45% Convenience Fee* will be added to your payment.
B) Electronic Check – a $0.75 Flat Fee* will be added to your payment.
C) Visa Debit Card ONLY – a $3.95 Flat Fee* will be added to your payment.
D) Mastercard, Discover, and all other Bank Debit Cards – a 1.50% Convenience Fee* will be added to your payment.

*Note: The added Convenience Fees are collected by the online payment provider, and NOT the Town of Orangetown.

Late payments after March 31st will not be posted in our system. Installment payments (2nd, 3rd, & 4th) made to the Rockland County Department of Finance will not be posted in our system.
