Welcome to the Town of Princetown Online Tax Payment and History System!

You may view and print current Town & County bills or receipts for the Town of Princetown from this site. A five–year history of tax payment at the town level is also available here. If prior year taxes show unpaid, you can check with the county to verify payments on delinquent taxes. Payments made to Schenectady County for back taxes will not appear on this website.

You must contact the school district directly for any information regarding school tax bills.

2025 Town & County Tax Payments will be accepted by Crystle Cuomo, Receiver of Taxes beginning January 1st through April 30th, 2025. Regular office hours are Monday – Wednesday 9:00am –4:00pm. We are closed for all government holidays.

Please note, all payments made after January 31st will be considered late and are subject to penalty/interest.

Pay Online: You may pay your taxes online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card (2.95% convenience fee will apply), or by Electronic Check ($2.00 flat fee will apply). Convenience and flat fees are collected by the web service provider, not by the Town of Princetown.
Partial payments are not accepted and cannot be made through the online tax payment system. You will receive an email confirmation of your payment. The website will not reflect your payment until it is updated the next business day.

Pay By Mail: All payments must be mailed to: The Town of Princetown 165 Princetown Plaza, Schenectady, NY 12306. Please note, if mailed, payments must be U.S. postmarked by the due date to be considered paid on time. Checks should be made payable to the Princetown Tax Collector.

Pay in Person: The Tax Collector is located at 165 Princetown Plaza. Payments may be made in person during office hours using cash, check, or money order only. The Princetown Town Hall cannot accept credit card payments in person. Those wishing to pay by credit card must do so online. Checks should be made payable to the Princetown Tax Collector. If paying your tax bill with cash, please have the exact amount. A drop box is located on the right side of the front door for those interested in leaving payments after hours.
