Online Payment    Visa debit card – flat fee of $4.00

Fee Schedule:       Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) 

                              and all other debit cards – 2.50% of the total transaction

                              E-check - $2.00 flat fee

 

The convenience fee is collected by the web service provider, not the Town of Wappinger.

 

Payments may be made in person and by mail, cash or check, at 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Please make checks payable to Lee A. Freno, Receiver of Taxes. A secure drop box is also available at the main entrance of Town Hall.  

 

Taxes are due on or before March 2, 2026, without interest.  Payments made March 3, 2026, through June 1, 2026, incur a two percent (2%) penalty.  Payments made June 2, 2026, through August 31, 2026, incur a four percent (4%) penalty.  After that date, payments must be made with the Dutchess County Commissioner of Finance, 22 Market Street, 3rd Floor, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601 (845-486-2025).  

 

Payments made to the County will not be posted on this website.
